Eternal

In this science fiction epic reminiscent of SLIDING DOORS, a young climate change scientist, Elias (Simon Sears) falls in love with an aspiring singer, Anita (Nanna Øland Fabricius, better known as Danish pop star Oh Land). But, he chooses his career over love when an opportunity arises for him to join a mission researching a mysterious fracture on the Atlantic Ocean floor, a phenomenon he has been obsessed with for years. A dangerous event, the fissure accelerates global climate change and is a threat to humanity. Years later, during a perilous deep-sea mission, diving into the claustrophobic depths of the ocean, Elias experiences a vision of what his life could have been like if he had made a different choice. Against the threat of impending doom, Eternal weaves a spellbinding tale blending love, regret and existential mystery.
