Darkland: The Return

It has been seven years since surgeon Zaid went on a revenge spree in the criminal underworld, to avenge his brother’s death. Since then, Zaid has been in prison and become a father to son Noah (Asgar Hansen), whom he barely knows. So, when police agent Helle (Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Borgen) offers him a deal to go undercover and infiltrate the Copenhagen underworld, in exchange for being released and seeing his estranged seven-year-old son, he jumps at the chance to be reunited with his family. 

Zaid tries to keep his life as an undercover source in a violent gang separate from the relationship he is building with his son, but eventually the two worlds collide, and he must do everything he can to protect him.
